All my icons are changed to word icons

Surprisingly, sometimes we got in trouble in our desktop icons changed into different types of applications like MS word, PDF, etc... We tried to virus scan our computer as it is suspected virus infection. To tell you guys this is not a virus infection or whatever you suspect. It’s how you manage opening files in your computer. Here’s the solution to avoid such stressful scenario.

For windows 7 

If this window appear, just uncheck the Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.


For windows 8 to latest version

 Simply uncheck the Use this app for all .xxxxx files

Save file as Default_LNK_(Shortcut).reg ; Save as Type set to All Types (*)

Run all registry files then restart computer.
